Roll Tide & War Eagle Cakes

Mascot Elephant Cake- Alabama Cake, Roll Tide, University of Alabama

Half this state answers one way and half answers the other, and we are not going to settle it here. We make both. Officially licensed, baked from scratch, decorated by hand in Alabama.

What we make

Roll Tide Cake and War Eagle Cake — $60 to $190 depending on size. These are the centerpiece cakes, the ones that go in the middle of the table.

Mascot Elephant Cake and Mascot Tiger Cake — $50 to $190. Same idea, mascot forward.

Alabama Game Day Cookie Cake and Auburn Game Day Cookie Cake, 14 inches — $29. The easiest game day dessert there is. One flat round, no plates required if we’re being honest about it, and it survives a parking lot.

Alabama and Auburn Tailgate Trays — $55 medium, $85 large. When you need to feed the whole tent rather than make a statement.

Alabama and Auburn Thumbprint Trays — $32 for three dozen, $40 for four dozen. Thumbprint cookies in team colors. These disappear faster than anything else on this list.

Cupcake Elephant and Cupcake Tiger — $4 each. Good for a classroom, a small office, or a kid who has opinions.

What’s left on the schedule

There are still five home Saturdays in an Edgar’s town:

  • Sat, Oct 10 — Alabama hosts Georgia in Tuscaloosa. Plan ahead for this one.
  • Thu, Oct 15 — UAB hosts East Carolina at Protective Stadium
  • Sat, Oct 24 — Alabama hosts Texas A&M; Auburn hosts LSU
  • Sat, Nov 7 — Auburn hosts Arkansas; UAB hosts Charlotte
  • Sat, Nov 21 — Alabama hosts Chattanooga; Auburn hosts Samford; UAB hosts UTSA
  • Sat, Nov 28 — the Iron Bowl, Auburn at Alabama, Bryant–Denny

Our Galleria of Tuscaloosa location is a short drive from Bryant–Denny, which matters on a home Saturday when you’d rather not cross town twice. Financial Center, The Colonnade, and Homewood cover Birmingham for UAB games.

Order by Thursday

We prefer about 48 hours’ notice on cake orders. For a Saturday game that means Thursday, and for the big ones it means earlier than that — a licensed decorated cake isn’t something we can produce in an hour, and Georgia week and Iron Bowl week fill up.

If you’re hosting for the Iron Bowl on November 28, order that one the week before. Thanksgiving falls on the 26th and the kitchen is closed that Thursday.

What travels and what doesn’t

A tailgate is a hot parking lot and a folding table. Two rules:

Buttercream and fondant hold at room temperature. Cream cheese icings — strawberry, lemon — need a cooler. If your setup is a tent and a folding chair, the cookie cakes and thumbprint trays are the safe call.

Size dessert for about 75% of your headcount. People graze at a tailgate; they don’t sit down to a slice.

If you’re hosting indoors

Then you have a refrigerator, and the whole menu opens up. Our signature strawberry cake, cheesecakes at $43, the Snacktime Assortment Tray at $65 for about 30 people. And if the party outgrows the house, the Homewood event room rents for $75 an hour with a two-hour minimum and a $50 food minimum. Party rooms are also available at Pelham, Huntsville South, and Madison.
