Since Terry and Dottie Smith opened one small neighborhood bakery in Birmingham in 1998, Edgar's Bakery has grown to eleven locations across Alabama — and along the way, people started talking. Taste of the South, Alabama Magazine, and Birmingham Magazine have all named us among Alabama's best bakeries, and our signature strawberry cake has a habit of turning up wherever the state's most-loved desserts are discussed.
