Office Holiday Party Catering

Somebody in your office is going to get handed the holiday party. It might already be you.

Here’s the thing nobody tells you: the good December dates go in October. Not because anyone’s being dramatic — there are only so many Thursdays in December and every business in Birmingham wants one of them.

Start with your number

Nearly everything we cater comes in three sizes. Small serves 10, medium 20, large 30. Pick your number, then pick your category.

The Chicken Salad Croissant Tray is the one people request by name. Our signature chicken salad on a croissant is what Edgar’s is known for outside the cake case, and it makes a office lunch feel like somebody made an effort.

Drinks: Tea and All is $9.95. A Coffee Box, regular or decaf, is $27 — figure one per 10 to 12 people for a morning meeting.

And dessert, which is the part you actually called us for:

What it actually costs per person

Breakfast for 20 — a pastry tray, a fruit bowl, and two coffee boxes — runs about $10 to $11 a head.

Lunch for 20 — a deli sandwich tray with sides and chips — lands around $9 to $11. The croissant tray runs closer to $12 to $14.

Both are under what most catering costs, and neither one arrives in a cardboard box with a logo on it.

If you’d rather not host it at the office

Several of our stores have event room to rent for $75 an hour with a two-hour minimum and a $50 food minimum. Party rooms are available at Homewood, Financial Center, Pelham, Huntsville South, and Madison. It’s a good answer for a team of fifteen that doesn’t want to eat lunch in the conference room they’ve been in all year.

When should I book holiday catering? 

October for December. The most-requested December dates go first, and holiday weeks are our tightest of the year.

What does office catering cost per person? 

Breakfast runs about $10 to $11 a head. Lunch is roughly $9 to $14 depending on whether you choose deli sandwiches or the chicken salad croissant tray.
