Gift Card FAQ
A: Yes, gift cards can be sent as gifts! If you want the gift card mailed as a gift, make sure you enter the shipping address as the address of your recipient.
After you have entered this and other purchasing information on the Google Checkout page, hit "Agree and Continue" to be taken to a purchase overview page. Look for "Additional Options - Add Gift Message" and click. Please make sure you fill out the "To" and "From" fields as well so we can make sure the recipient knows who sent them such a sweet gift! We will print out the message on a nice cardstock card and place in an Edgar's envelope with the Gift Card.

Q: If I have a coupon code, how do I enter it?
A: You will have the option to enter the coupon code on the purchase overview page. Look for "Use Coupon Code" under "Additional Options".

Q: What is "Google Checkout"?
A: Google Checkout is one of the most trusted and secure purchasing platforms on the internet run by Google themselves, which is why we chose it-- to keep you secure. After you click "Proceed to Checkout" you will be redirected to Google's checkout system where you will complete the purchase.

Q: How will I get my purchase confirmation?
A: You will be asked to provide an email address when purchasing the gift card. When the order has been received in our system, you will automatically be sent via email a copy of your order, which will act as the receipt.

Q: Where can I use my gift card? What can I purchase at Edgar's with a Gift Card?
A: You can use your Edgar's gift card at any of our store locations. Gift cards may be redeemed for food, beverage, or retail items at Edgar's locations.

Q: Can I return or exchange my gift card? What if I lose it?
A: No, Gift Card sales are final. Gift Cards may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for the safehousing of gift cards. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Please email customerservice@edgarsbakery.com for further help.

Q: What do I do if I don't receive the gift card in the standard USPS delivery time?
A: We use USPS First Class Mail to send our gift cards, and the envelope cannot be tracked. However, we do notify you via email when your order has been shipped. If on the rare occassion you or your intended recipient does not receive the gift card in the standard USPS delivery time (2-9 days) after you've been notified that we have shipped your order, please contact customer service at

Q: How soon are orders shipped?
A: If you place your order before 10am CT on a business day, we will try to make sure it is shipped out the same day.

Q: What should I look for in the mail?
A: Look for an envelope with an Edgar's return address sticker.

Q: Can I choose the design of the gift card?
A: Unfortunately, you cannot currently choose what design you'd like. We will choose the design ourselves based on the time of year. For instance, during the holidays we will send out holiday themed cards. Hopefully we will be able to implement a feature where you can choose for yourself in the future.
